About this role
Role Overview
- Serve as the senior technical lead and primary point of contact for complex transportation engineering assignments
- Perform and oversee advanced traffic engineering analyses
- Lead large-scale transportation studies and redevelopment efforts
- Support airport roadway and frontage analyses, corridor studies, and network-level evaluations
- Guide and mentor junior engineering staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years progressive traffic engineering experience required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) preferred
- Expert knowledge of the traffic engineering principles, operations analysis, and safety
- Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
- Experience with SYNCHRO and HCS required; VISSIM and Viswalk preferred
- Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, engineering standards, and applicable regulations
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills
