Plan and run tests to make sure video features work correctly before release
Create simple, reusable test scripts (mainly in Python) to speed up testing
Set up and maintain test setups, including software tools and video hardware
Work closely with developers and product teams to catch issues early
Improve automated testing and integrate it into build and release pipelines
Test video features for everyday use, edge cases, and performance issues
Log, track, and confirm fixes for video and system bugs
Review test results and share clear quality summaries with the team
Take part in Agile team meetings (stand‑ups, planning, retrospectives)
Promote best testing practices and initiate improvements in processes and tools
Validate video content quality, including visuals, image artifacts, and metadata
Requirements
Background in video production, postproduction, media engineering, or multimedia technology.
Experience working with video, image processing, or content creation pipelines.
Software testing experience, including creating comprehensive test plans.
Practical understanding of topics such as: Video codecs and formats, Visual quality issues (artifacts, banding, color issues, motion problems), Media metadata and playback behavior.
Ability to analyze quality issues and explain them clearly to engineers and product teams.
Comfortable scripting or automating repetitive tasks (Python preferred).
Experience working across macOS, Windows, and Linux environments.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with international teams.
Advanced English (B2/C1).
