Optimizing weekly Cross-Functional Sync meetings to ensure we are acting and improving on short-to-midterm backorder projections.
Align with the regions on mode of transportation changes to reduce backorder risk and meet month and quarter end revenue targets.
Increase accountability surrounding demand-related backorder, challenging the regions on backorder driven by demand materializing above forecast.
Work with Global Distribution facilities and our internal global supply planners to prioritize critical products and loads through our sterilization facility.
Track hot shipments from departing our Global Distribution centers to destination location, ensuring shipments and receipts are on time and in full.
Create weekly back order projections, pulling in data and aligning with regions on a rolling 12-month view. Highlight hot product groups and week-over-week changes to Associate Director prior to weekly leadership presentation.
Segment backorder into three categories: Demand, Supply (RM / WIP constraints, or PPA / PvA), and QA related issues.
Manage shelf life at both the Global Distribution centers and product coming out of our internal plants. Ensure all produced lots and quantities have enough shelf life to meet Hub Distribution center requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or related degree; or MBA/MS in relevant discipline preferred
9+ years of Supply Chain planning; demonstrated planning experience handling large portfolios and data sets
Minimum 2 years of people leading experience, preferred.
Demonstrated experience working in optimization tools and ERP systems (e.g. JDE, SAP)
Advanced experience in planning systems required (Kinaxis, o9, Anaplan, etc.)
Financial literary required; understanding of basic P&L terminology and financial systems
ASCM/APICS (CPIM, CSCP) or IBF (CPF, ACPF) certification desired, required within the first 3 years.
