Develop and deploy advanced computational and machine‑learning methods to support research and analytical initiatives across the organization.
Design, implement, and lead new research programs and collaborations, leveraging existing multi‑omic, clinical, and epidemiological datasets in partnership with the main campus in New York and local collaborators in Qatar.
Integrate and analyze multimodal datasets including genomics, metabolomics, imaging, and electronic medical records using state‑of‑the‑art machine learning approaches, particularly modern deep learning techniques.
Drive cross‑functional collaboration by partnering with faculty, research teams, and institutional entities that can benefit from AI‑driven methodologies.
Collaborate across Cornell campuses, such as the Englander Institute for Precision Medicine, to support joint research initiatives and shared scientific objectives.

Ph.D. and/or M.D.
Relevant postdoctoral experience
A record of excellence in scholarship and strong high-impact publications as lead author.
A consistent record of grant support from government and private funding agencies.
Prior experience working with international consortia (e.g., DREAM challenges, ICGC, TCGA, etc.) is desirable.
