Analyze technical contracts and ensure compliance with internal standards
Apply the design process and coordinate internal and external design teams
Defend John Cockerill’s interests with customers and suppliers
Prepare RFQ packages and conduct technical negotiations with suppliers
Monitor supplier engineering and liaise with mechanical erection and commissioning advisors on site
Conduct technical risk assessments
Apply internal standards and best practices to promote quality, efficiency, and productivity
Prioritize tasks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Participate in project KOMs (kick-off meetings), design reviews, project reviews, progress and technical coordination meetings
Requirements
Degree in Chemical, Electromechanical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
3–5 years’ experience in project execution; generalist profile
Knowledge of PMBOK/PMI principles is a plus
Ability to analyze contractual requirements and make appropriate technical decisions
Understanding of international codes and standards (ASME, EN, ISO)
Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings, and interpret P&IDs and process flows
Fluent in English; French mandatory
