Apply clinical expertise as a Behavioral Health Consultant
Conduct comprehensive behavioral health clinical assessments of disability claims
Clarify medical information and evaluate restrictions/limitations
Conduct analysis of medical information and document rational opinions
Support claims professionals in effective claim direction and identify next steps
Collaborate with Vocational Rehabilitation Consultants to develop return-to-work plans
Provide training and mentoring to staff as appropriate
Requirements
LICSW active and unrestricted licensure, MSW preferred or RN active and unrestricted licensure, BSN preferred; relevant experience acceptable
Minimum of 3 years clinical experience with adult working age population
Experience in rehabilitation setting, psychiatric setting, Occupational Health, Case/Care Management, Disability Insurance, Group Benefits, or Workers compensation a plus
Ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external partners
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
Research, analytical, critical thinking, problem solving skills
Strong computer skills, proficient in PC environment and MS Word, Excel, email
