Registered Nurse – Communication Center, Central Triage Line

Role Overview

• Provides high-quality, patient-centered, clinical care
• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of the patient, utilizing appropriate data.
• Communicates and documents assessment with the interdisciplinary team.
• Develops and documents plan of care, treatment and services.
• Complies with organizational policies, procedures and protocols.
• Revises plan of care based on ongoing evaluations.
• Completes at least one clinical research utilization form.

Requirements

• Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse license in New York State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1-2 years of prior triage experience.
• Experience in adult medicine and pediatric/emergency triage settings.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Strong computer skills strongly preferred.
