You develop and validate ML models for time series forecasting (e.g., consumption, KPIs, system states)
You evaluate and implement modern methods (e.g., reinforcement learning, predictive control) for forecasting and optimization
You build robust data pipelines and ensure clean feature-engineering processes in close collaboration with Data Engineering
You ensure the highest quality, testing, and production standards for models and services
You work cross-functionally with Product, Software, and Operations to transition models into production-grade, performant, and maintainable products
You present results clearly and in an action-oriented manner to the team and stakeholders
You contribute to building and advancing our data-science best-practices framework

A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable qualification
Strong ML and engineering profile with proven experience in Python (including ML/AI libraries) and SQL
Excellent knowledge of SQL and Python
Strong experience with APIs, model deployment, and monitoring (Docker, CI/CD, cloud experience a plus)
An analytical, solution-oriented, and pragmatic working style
Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
