About this role
Role Overview
Provide strategic and operational leadership to a team of 6 people covering UK, IE and Nordics
Guide business growth, meet revenue targets, and ensure customer satisfaction through the expansion of rapid NGS solutions into Oncology, Reproductive Health and custom solutions
Work in a collaborative matrix environment with sales, marketing, product management, and other cross-functional teams
Implement commercial strategies and develop market opportunities
Utilize data-driven insights to enhance sales processes, maintain robust forecasting, and adapt strategies to meet evolving market demands
Build strong customer relationships and support key accounts while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Requirements
Masters Degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or related scientific field
12+ years of progressive commercial experience in life sciences, analytical instruments, or related industry
3+ years of people management experience leading teams in a matrix environment
Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and guiding business growth
Experience implementing commercial strategies and tactical business plans
Experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and sales operations processes
Deep understanding of scientific workflows, applications, and customer needs in relevant markets
Strong strategic planning and business acumen with ability to analyze market trends
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to engage at all levels
Strong project management skills and attention to detail
Technical expertise in relevant product portfolios and applications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and business intelligence tools
Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
Solution-focused with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
