Lead the preparation and review of technical drawings (Site Plans, Grading Plans, Utility Plans, Erosion Control Plans, and Stormwater Management Design) for permitting and construction.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate all phases of multiple projects, ensuring successful delivery from concept through construction.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams.
Oversee and perform construction services, including site visits, shop drawing review, and coordination during construction.
Prepare and review stormwater calculations and oversee the permitting process.
Lead code research and analysis at the local, county, state, and federal levels for each project.
Coordinate with Ware Malcomb consultants and client consultants to deliver complete, accurate, and well-coordinated contract documents.
Mentor, train, and provide guidance to junior staff and support team members.
Participate in and present at public meetings, design reviews, and jurisdictional approvals as required.
Support project financial performance and client satisfaction.
Requirements
6+ years of experience within the Civil Engineering field, with a focus on land/site development
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related program is required
A PE (Professional Engineering) license is required
Strong experience managing multiple projects and client relationships
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D required
Strong knowledge of permitting processes and applicable codes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking
