Role Overview
- Assess, monitor, and treat patients with various respiratory conditions
- Conduct Pulmonary Function Screenings using spirometry equipment
- Provide patient education regarding respiratory equipment and medications
- Administer respiratory treatments and conduct diagnostic testing
- Monitor patient progress during treatment and adjust therapies as necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and ensure patient safety
Requirements
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and/or Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) preferred
- Experience in performing spirometry testing
