Assist with managing a wide range of matters in a manner that maximizes value for DTN and our clients
Manage contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and client business requirements
Work with sales teams and client counterparts to assist with day to day contract management support and to understand delivery requirements
Assist with reporting, documenting commercial and contract risks and issues, following up with business counterparts to coordinate completion of open actions
Escalate matters to leadership and help ensure affected parties are notified in an appropriate and timely manner
Draft and review of contractual documents (eg services as a software (SAAS) agreements, statements of work, change requests, arrangement letters, subcontracts and non-disclosure agreements) and collaborate with other internal functions
Support and where necessary lead in negotiations
Handle high volume, multiple matters simultaneously
Provide high quality legal support across other areas of the business as necessary, in particular in relation to corporate support and data protection issues
Requirements
Admitted as a solicitor
2-3 years’ post-qualification experience in commercial contract law
Strong technical legal and contracts experience
Effective negotiating skills
Experience working directly with customers
Excellent inter-personal skills with experience working with a wide range of stakeholders
Some experience working in a law firm preferred
Data protection, general corporate and/or intellectual property experience preferred
