Own the full software development lifecycle (SDLC): architecture, design, development, deployment/support, and ongoing maintenance of technical solutions
Participate actively in all iterative delivery ceremonies and follow Agile best practices effectively
Play a key role on the engineering team to deliver high-quality, high-performance, and scalable user-facing applications
Produce technical design documentation and lead technical walkthroughs
Document and demonstrate solutions using design documents, diagrams, and representative “stubbed” examples (as needed)
Partner with business stakeholders to understand, clarify, and refine requirements
Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across teams
Design and develop industry-leading applications with a strong focus on usability, reliability, and performance
Triage, respond to, and resolve production issues; drive root-cause analysis and preventative improvements
Requirements
10+ years of strong hands-on experience building enterprise applications using:
A modern object-oriented programming language and corresponding server-side framework(s)
A modern component-based front-end framework/library and web development languages (including typed and untyped variants)
A relational database platform, including query optimization and performance tuning
Unit testing frameworks for both server-side and client-side code
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
10+ years of experience building rich web user interfaces, including:
Responsive UI development and styling using common UI frameworks and CSS
UI-focused testing approaches and tooling
Strong understanding of design patterns and architecture principles
Excellent logical, analytical, and communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and deliver within defined timelines
Proficiency with SDLC methodologies such as Agile and test-driven development (TDD)
