Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure that all products meet the required specifications and standards.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce defects, and improve product quality.
Develop and execute strategies to reduce manufacturing costs while maintaining or improving product quality.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with the contract manufacturer, ensuring that their processes and products meet our quality standards.
Conduct regular quality audits and ensure compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, and laws.
Investigate and resolve quality issues by performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Prepare and maintain detailed quality documentation, including inspection reports, quality plans, and audit findings.
Provide training and support to the contract manufacturer's team on quality standards, cost reduction techniques, and best practices.
Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and procurement, to ensure alignment on quality objectives, cost reduction goals, and manufacturing process changes.
Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance, cost reduction efforts, engineering changes, and improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably within the battery energy storage or related industry.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proven track record of process improvement and cost reduction.
Familiarity with quality control methodologies, lean manufacturing principles, and industry-specific regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
