Support the faculty in all phases including credentialing, recruitment, on-boarding and compliance
Assist with management and delivery of faculty affairs and human resources services
Manage a variety of faculty-related administrative procedures including faculty appointments, promotion and tenure, and the annual review of academic departments
Interpret and develop procedures to meet College, University, federal and state employment laws and guidelines
Utilize technology and other innovative methods to actively recruit all faculty and administers leaves for faculty and manages the visiting scholar processes
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
3 years of related experience including experience working on academic/faculty projects
Human resources experience (e.g. recruitment, employee relations)
Excellent organizational, interviewing, problem solving and customer service skills
Knowledge of basic human resources concepts, practices, legislation, and procedures
Excellent computer/technical skills
Ability to interpret and effectively communicate policies and procedures to a diverse employee population
Proficiency with spreadsheet applications and strong knowledge of database applications
