Role Overview
- Identify and maintain quality network of community-based organizations and Realtors
- Take residential mortgage loan applications and communicate decisions
- Increase mortgage loan volume focusing on CRA, LMI, and multicultural borrowers
- Establish relationships to increase CRA mortgage opportunities
- Represent the bank in community meetings and initiatives
- Explain mortgage products and provide recommendations
- Guide customers through mortgage application process
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or progressive work experience
- 3+ years related experience required
- Self-directed with ability to plan own activities
- Excellent time management skills
- PC skills, including knowledge of mortgage origination
- Must maintain active registration status with NMLS
- Established network of affordable housing organizations
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage industry and lending practices
- Demonstrated sales ability.
