Supports cross-functional transaction teams (Development, Finance, Legal, Engineering, Procurement) to ensure efficient and timely execution of M&A and project finance transactions.
Assists in structuring term sheets and supporting MIPA/PSA negotiations, as well as financing agreements.
Assists the entire due diligence process for potential project finance transactions, covering financial, developmental and operational, legal, technological, and other relevant areas.
Supports financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and risk analysis for Project Finance transactions.
Assists in structuring, negotiating, and executing debt and tax equity financing arrangements with lenders and investors, supporting credit approvals and closing processes.
Identifies and researches project finance opportunities across solar, wind, and storage.
Monitors industry trends, regulatory developments, and Project Financing activity to inform strategic positioning and provide insights to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or similar required; Master’s degree preferred.
1 year of professional industry experience required.
1 year of experience preferred in renewable energy, energy infrastructure, or transaction/finance.
Knowledge of debt structures, tax benefit monetization and partnership taxation is a plus.
Strong quantitative and research background.
Advanced Excel user, knowledge of other database software a plus.
Excellent communications skills.
Experience in Python or VBA is a plus.
Experience in EIA, ABB, Ventyx, SNL, SEIA / AWEA databases.
Experience in presentation software such as Tableau and dashboard development.
Proficiency in PowerPoint.
Proficiency in Spanish or French is a plus.
