Define acceptance conditions, including limits, deductibles, clauses and restrictions;
Assess and interpret proposals, technical reports and other documents related to the risk;
Provide technical justification for acceptance, restriction or declination decisions to leadership;
Work autonomously in conducting analyses, taking responsibility for decisions made;
Negotiate underwriting terms with the commercial team and brokers, balancing the company’s risk appetite and strategy;
Contribute to the technical quality of analyses and to underwriting consistency within the area, maintaining the portfolio’s sustainable results;
Support technical discussions and internal alignments related to risk assessment;

Bachelor's degree
Experience underwriting mid-market commercial risks at insurance companies
Ability to perform critical analysis and interpret risks (structural, operational and financial)
Knowledge of exposure assessment and identification of relevant risks
Experience defining acceptance terms (limits, deductibles, clauses and restrictions)
Critical reading and interpretation of proposals, technical reports and supporting documents
Experience in claims analysis and evaluation of risk history
