Associate Mechanical Engineer

Role Overview

• Apply mechanical engineering principles for the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies
• Develop CAD 2D and 3D models of electronic, mechanical and electro-mechanical components and assemblies
• Documentation of design solutions including reports, engineering drawings and Bill of Materials
• Provide effective communication across functional teams
• Work as key member of a cross-functional team to develop mechanical and electro-mechanical solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 0+ years’ experience in mechanical design.
• Understanding of mechanical design philosophy and design process flow.
• Ability to resolve issues during design, development and execution of mechanical engineering activities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office software applications.
• Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SolidWorks.
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
