Own the protection and orchestration roadmap for VSP 360 across hybrid deployments
Define architectural use cases for: Snapshot and clone lifecycle management, Synchronous replication for metro/high-availability scenarios, Asynchronous replication for disaster recovery, Multi-site protection and recovery workflows
Drive the design of policy-based protection workflows across block, file, object, and SDS platforms
Define SLA-driven recovery outcomes aligned with RTO, RPO, and availability objectives
Partner with engineering and architecture teams to define scalable protection frameworks and copy data management models
Lead ecosystem integrations with: VMware, Kubernetes, and application platforms, Backup and recovery ecosystems, Automation frameworks and infrastructure-as-code tools
Ensure protection capabilities are API-first and automation-ready
Translate complex infrastructure workflows into intuitive product experiences
Conduct competitive analysis across enterprise data protection platforms
Maintain product strategy, roadmaps, and requirements in Aha! and Jira
Engage with customers, field teams, and partners to validate use cases and drive adoption
Requirements
10–12+ years of Product Management experience in storage, data protection, infrastructure platforms, or cloud management software
Deep expertise in Snapshot, clone, and copy data management technologies
Synchronous and asynchronous replication architectures
Disaster recovery and cyber-resilient recovery patterns
Strong understanding of RTO/RPO design principles and protection SLAs
Experience delivering automation and orchestration for infrastructure workflows
Familiarity with enterprise workloads including VMware, databases, and containerized environments
Experience designing API-driven and plugin-based platform capabilities
Strong architectural mindset and ability to partner closely with engineering teams
Experience working in Agile environments with tools such as Aha!, Jira, and roadmap frameworks
Ability to translate complex infrastructure capabilities into clear customer value
Strong communication skills across technical, executive, and customer stakeholders
Strategic mindset with awareness of market trends and competitive landscape
