Manage the daily activities of the project management team, acting as the main point of contact for clients regarding ICON’s Central Laboratories services.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical oversight to team members, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and process consistency across projects.
Represent ICON at Investigator Meetings and other client-facing engagements.
Implement protocol amendments and complete laboratory configurations.
Participate in audits, bid defenses, trial reconciliations, and other key project activities.
Direct the Project Management function, ensuring consistency in processes, quality, and client satisfaction.
Provide vision, leadership, and mentorship to the department and organization.
Ensure the overall direction, coordination, execution, and successful completion of all assigned programs/projects in line with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
Requirements
Proven, in-depth experience as a Project Manager, preferably with a CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) background.
Master’s degree required; Postdoctoral experience preferred but not essential.
Ideally technical experience in analytical testing.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring, supervising, or leading teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
