Partner with the Product Owner/Product Lead to shape initiatives, refine problem statements, & ensure alignment with product strategy & business outcomes
Work closely with business teams to articulate the value, purpose, benefits, & expected outcomes of initiatives
Apply a customer‑centric mindset, viewing processes & solutions through the eyes of the customer to ensure positive client experiences.
Develop current & future state process models, identifying opportunities to simplify, optimise, & improve the end‑to‑end client journey
Lead end‑to‑end business analysis activities, including workshops & working groups, to validate assumptions, uncover pain points, & define business‑led requirements prior to solution design
Translate insights into well‑defined user stories & support delivery through active engagement during build & implementation
Contribute to change management activities, including rollout, training, & adoption support, to ensure solutions are embedded effectively & deliver intended outcomes
Collaborate with design & delivery teams to inform customer journeys, screen flows, & experience-led solutions.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Business Analyst within banking or financial services
Demonstrated experience working across the end‑to‑end client journey, with the ability to translate customer problems & insights into clear business opportunities
A strong understanding of customer experience frameworks & what “good” looks like from a client perspective
Ability to articulate web criteria, build test cases & user stories
Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to both technical & non‑technical stakeholders
Highly developed analytical, facilitation, & storytelling skills
Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments
A collaborative, confident mindset, with the ability to challenge constructively, influence outcomes, & advocate for the best result for customers and the business
