About this role
Role Overview
As a Senior Consultant, you’ll lead high-impact projects that help clients to improve operations, meet regulatory goals and shape industry frameworks
You’ll work across sectors such as energy, water, transport, communications and health, delivering expert analysis and collaborating with top economists to influence policy and drive business transformation
Leading projects on performance benchmarking, productivity analysis and efficiency modelling
Developing economic models and methodologies to identify operational improvements and set performance targets
Delivering compelling reports and evidence to regulators, competition authorities and courts across Europe
Advising clients on regulatory frameworks, price reviews, disputes, and market power assessments
Collaborating with academic and technical experts to ensure that cutting-edge methodologies are applied
Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the growth of the team
Requirements
An advanced degree in economics, data science, mathematics or a related field
Proven experience in benchmarking, productivity analysis and/or efficiency modelling
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and their application in both regulated and competitive markets
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to diverse audiences
Strong project management and interpersonal skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality work on time and within budget
Familiarity with specialist tools used in efficiency modelling (advantageous)
Experience in UK and other European regulatory contexts (highly desirable)
