About this role
Role Overview
You play a central role in our client projects and contribute your technical, methodological and regulatory expertise.
Advisory & design: Developing and refining strategies, methods and processes for bank-wide governance, risk controlling and risk management.
Responsibility in client engagements: Actively (co-)shaping projects and processes — depending on your focus, this may include business analysis, subject-matter specialization, implementation coordination, test management or (partial) project leadership.
Advising on and implementing regulatory requirements such as CRD, CRR, MaRisk, IRRBB and ESG — from analysis through design to implementation.
Analyzing, evaluating and preparing banking-related data to provide well-founded decision support.
Using Excel/VBA, Access, SQL, Python or R to develop practical, data-driven solutions.
Providing technical support to junior consultants and actively sharing knowledge within the team.
Requirements
Degree with a banking-related focus (e.g., mathematics, economics, computer science, engineering)
Several years of professional experience in banking or consulting, ideally in risk or banking controlling
Ability to analyze complex quantitative, technical and regulatory requirements in a structured way and translate them into practical solutions
High level of initiative, independent working style, resilience and interest in quantitative analyses, regulatory and strategic issues in banking
Professional manner in client settings, strong team skills and very good German and English language skills
Solid skills in Excel/VBA, Access, SQL or comparable tools, and willingness to travel for projects within Germany and to Luxembourg
