Prepare detailed electrical designs, plans, and cost estimates for projects including electrical systems, data, communications, CCTV, AV, and lighting.
Perform quantity take-offs, Bill of Materials, and project specifications using tools such as AutoCAD, Groundplan, and Bluebeam Revu.
Conduct site inspections and provide technical assessments for tendering and project implementation.
Develop and submit proposals in response to RFQs, RFTs, and other client requirements.
Collaborate with suppliers to source materials and verify pricing, specifications, and compliance with technical standards.
Oversee installation, supervise subcontractors, and ensure projects adhere to Australian Standards (AS3000, AS1158) and local regulations.
Utilize project management software such as Ascora, Odoo, and Microsoft Office suite for reporting, documentation, and communication.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred or in progress)
Registered Electrical Engineer and Registered Master Electrician
Proven experience in electrical system design, estimation, and project management (preferably with international projects)
