Participate in the development, implementation and monitoring of the company’s occupational health and safety policy;
Perform diagnostics and periodic inspections at facilities, construction sites and field operations to identify occupational hazards and ensure compliance with current regulations;
Assess working conditions, propose improvements and monitor the adoption of technologies and processes that reduce risks to employees’ physical integrity and health;
Develop and deliver training, awareness campaigns and preventive actions aimed at promoting a safety culture;
Investigate and analyze workplace accidents and incidents, preparing technical reports and recommending corrective and preventive measures;
Prepare and keep up-to-date mandatory documentation such as PGR (Risk Management Program), PCMSO (Occupational Health Medical Control Program), LTCAT (Technical Report on Environmental Working Conditions), PPP (Social Security Profile) and hazard/risk maps, in coordination with medical and technical consultants;
Monitor the use and distribution of PPE, controlling expiration dates, training and issuance records;
Support collective bargaining processes and the integration of new work processes, considering impacts on occupational health;
Operate in compliance with labor and environmental legislation as well as the company’s internal policies;
Drive a motor vehicle, when licensed and authorized, for fieldwork or technical visits.
Requirements
Technical diploma in Occupational Safety;
Driver’s license and experience with vehicle operation;
Availability to travel;
Organizational skills and deadline management;
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams;
Ethics and responsibility when handling confidential information;
Experience working with Vale (client).
