Define and communicate a clear technical vision for the Launch Silo IPT, aligning all SEIT functions to cost, schedule, and performance targets.
Partner with program managers, finance, and acquisition teams to develop Earned Value Management (EVM) baselines and monitor variance.
Conduct risk based assessments; lead mitigation and opportunity exploitation across the SEIT spectrum.
Directly manage functional leads for Requirements, Architecture, Interface Control, Simulation, and Test.
Champion model based engineering (MBE) practices—maintain a live Digital Twin of the launch silo and ensure traceability from requirement to test.
Approve Interface Control Models and installation drawings; resolve interface conflicts with external IPTs and the customer.
Prepare and deliver concise, data driven briefings for senior leadership, program executives, key subcontractor partners, and DoD customers.
Build a high performing, inclusive SEIT culture; mentor engineers, promote career growth, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 8 years of related experience or Master's degree and 6 years of related experience
Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
Experienced in requirements engineering, system architecture, interface control, model based design, and test & verification.
