Support a highly motivated engineering team in defining, designing, implementing, documenting, testing and sustaining security solutions on National Security Systems.
Work with system developers or commercial product vendors in the design and evaluation of state-of-the-art secure systems, networks, and database products.
Exercise skills in NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and related NIST publications, including writing System Security Plans.
Perform skills in implementing/assessing security controls and defining security control baselines based on defined system security categorizations.
Assist in systems engineering functions and defining/managing systems/security architectures including managing system security boundaries.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA) certification required.
Ability to obtain DoD 8140.03 certification, or equivalent NIST 800-181 certification within 12 months of hire.
Ability to obtain a NOAA Public Trust.
Perform with Model Based System Engineering (UML, SysML, UAF).
