Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical BI solutions.
Own reporting and analytics efforts from start to finish, ensuring solutions are accurate, useful, and aligned with business needs.
Create clear, intuitive dashboards that balance business usability with technical rigor.
Identify and troubleshoot data quality or logic issues that impact reporting.
Design and maintain scalable Power BI data models that support enterprise reporting.
Build and optimize DAX measures, including time intelligence and more advanced calculations.
Respond to feedback from users and continuously refine reports to improve clarity, usability, and relevance.
Collaborate with other BI developers through reviews and shared best practices.
Develop a strong understanding of the Surety business and use that knowledge to proactively suggest new insights or reporting opportunities.

Bachelor’s degree
3–5 years of experience in business intelligence or analytics
Strong hands-on Power BI experience (semantic modeling, DAX, Power Query)
Comfort working with SQL and enterprise data sources
Experience supporting production BI content with a focus on reliability and performance
Ability to communicate trade-offs, assumptions, and definitions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
