Role Overview
Engineering Technicians must be able to provide semi-professional technical support for engineers working in such areas as research, design, development, testing, or manufacturing process improvement.
Perform assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed, selects or adapts standard procedures or equipment.
Conduct various tests or experiments which may require minor modifications in test setups or procedures as well as subjective judgments in measurement.
Assist in design modification by compiling data related to design, specifications, and materials.
Provide engineering support to analyze and evaluate facilities work order requests for repair, maintenance and construction.
Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid U.S. Passport.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Must obtain and maintain local base access.
Must possess a valid State Driver’s License.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in technical fields, such as civil engineering, drafting, surveying, or construction estimating.
Must be a team player with a positive attitude and the ability to adapt to change.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong public speaking skills.
Fluent in Microsoft Office, Adobe and computer aided design products.
