About this role
Role Overview
- Building key technical relationships at top accounts demonstrating great technical credibility increasing customer technical confidence in NI-Emerson
- Understanding and assisting in creation of customer technical requirements.
- Provide recommendations on software architectures, hardware while helping understand the next steps to ensure success
- Collaborating with the NI-Emerson Account Manager(s) as part of an account team to lead development and execution of the account technical strategy providing insight to the overall account strategy and pipeline
- Coordinating with and informing internal technical stakeholders to execute on account technical initiatives and provide feedback to increase account success
- Leveraging industry, application area, and account knowledge to uncover and influence customer future technical needs and challenges generating further technical demand for NI-Emerson products, services, and support
Requirements
- BS degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)
- 5 years of industry experience
- 3 years of programming experience
- 2 years of experience in RF Fundamentals and Measurements
- Willing and able to travel – Regional and Austin, TX, up to 25%
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Degree concentration in electrical or computer engineering is preferred
- Experience with LabVIEW, and TestStand, and the PXI platform, including developer certifications
- Advanced skill in at least one of the following programming languages: LabVIEW, .NET, Python, C++, C#
- Advanced skill in FPGA development using VHDL or LabView FPGA
- 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role
- Experience contributing to organization, account, or engagement strategies
- Able to integrate business, operational, and interpersonal considerations into technical engagements.
