Supporting financial control activities including data validation, KPI reporting, policy documentation, and monitoring compliance.
Assisting with technical accounting and regulatory position papers and maintaining technical accounting policy libraries.
Preparing and reviewing regulatory reporting to bodies such as APRA and ASIC and analysing inputs from service providers.
Operationalising regulatory reporting changes, including data mapping, analysis and system outputs.
Managing and supporting Reporting & Control activities such as reserve management, adequacy reviews and audit coordination.
Building and maintaining effective working relationships across Finance and the broader Fund to support governance outcomes.
Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent).
Demonstrated experience in external audit, regulatory reporting, compliance and/or financial control within a financial services regulated environment.
Strong technical accounting capability and advanced analytical skills.
Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical business outcomes.
High attention to detail with the confidence to identify, challenge and resolve issues.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong capability across the Microsoft Office suite.
