Build and maintain models to support business cases, operational planning, and strategic decisions
Develop and own merchant-facing reporting models and data visualizations that communicate performance clearly and compellingly
Partner with sales, merchant success and growth teams to deliver data and analysis that helps retain and upsell merchants
Respond to adhoc data requests from internal stakeholders including GSMs and AEs, providing timely and accurate insights
Work closely with data engineering and product teams to stay aligned on underlying data changes and surface opportunities for improvement
Contribute to building a more scalable, sophisticated reporting pipeline over time
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in an analytics, data, or business intelligence role
Understanding of consumer brands, ecommerce, and important metrics and benchmarks in the industry
Strong proficiency in SQL — you're comfortable querying large datasets, writing clean, efficient code, and understanding optimal data modeling
Experience building and maintaining transformation code in dbt
Experience with Snowflake
Experience building models and dashboards in Google Sheets / Excel; able to translate complex data into clear business narratives and actionable insights
Familiarity with Tableau
Knowledge of Python is a plus — experience using it for data manipulation or automation is a bonus
Strong communication skills — you can explain data clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
A self-starter mindset: you ask good questions, dig into problems independently, and know when to loop others in.
