Analyzes, creates, and maintains data dashboards and other reports on Sales team goals and agency production using available BI tools; supports the development and administration of current and future Sales goals.
Partners with Sales leaders to identify and resolve data issues, provide data support, and identify opportunities for process improvement; presents findings and recommendations to senior management.
Trains and mentors less experienced data analysts and Sales development users on data, technology, processes, automation, and new data sources.
Collaborates with management and colleagues to define reporting and analysis needs; develops project plans that outline business objectives, data scope, methodology, resources, and timelines; validates data accuracy and refines data-retrieval methods as needed; provides support to Sales leaders on data initiatives.
Creates, monitors, audits, and analyzes reports on Sales rep goals, site visits, and agency performance to identify opportunities to improve results; prepares clear reports, graphs, and charts to communicate findings.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (BA, BS); preferably in Business Administration, Mathematics, or Statistics
Masters degree preferred
Extensive experience in data manipulation using tools such as SAS, SQL, R, Python or equivalent
At least 5 years of insurance related experience, preferably in sales or marketing or similar analytical role including a minimum of 3 years in an analyst role.
Knowledge related to the Property & Casualty Insurance industry, as well as to the following specific product lines: Home, Auto, and Commercial
Intermediate mathematical/statistical reasoning required for accurate reporting
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Pivot Tables, SAS and SQL
Strong project management skills
Ability to adhere to the Company’s privacy policy due to the sensitive nature of information handled in this position.
