Develop and execute strategies that make it easier for clients, prospects, and consultants to buy products from Evernorth.
Build expanded and deepened consultant relationships and develop external forums for regular, specific, and actionable feedback/insights from consultants on our products, roadmaps, and their clients' biggest challenges.
Ensure that that Evernorth product roadmaps are directly influenced by market insights and consultant feedback.
Contribute to the build of a robust product upsell pipeline and continually refine/enrich pipeline by working closely with Sales, Account Teams, Product, and other teams as appropriate.
Share market insights with Evernorth leadership teams and update those teams on the actions taken to address those insights.
Develop a deep understanding of prioritized Evernorth products and roadmaps.
Maximize cross-enterprise capabilities to ensure Evernorth Consultant Strategy is optimally leveraging support from other teams such as marketing, sales enablement, sales operations, data/analytics, competitive intelligence, and other consultant strategy teams.
Requirements
Several years’ relevant experience in a product, sales, business development, strategy, consulting and/or client service role
Clinical experience/pharmacist background is preferred but not required; a strong ability to speak to the clinical details of our programs will be essential
Proven track record of building new relationships in a complex business-to-business selling environment
Strong financial skills including understanding of PBM and product economics as well as contracting strategies to support sales growth.
The ability to influence decision makers across the enterprise including senior leaders.
A self-directed ability to use proper judgment to plan, prioritize, and accomplish goals
Ability to create and execute strategic plans for assigned firms based on key metrics and market dynamics
Leadership skills, team-orientation, a proactive management style and a growth mindset
Knowledge of employee benefits and PBM marketplace
Strategic approach to consultant relationship management; applies best practices across consultant relationships
