Responsible for reporting operations, regulatory support, and portfolio forecasting of Eversource’s energy efficiency programs in Massachusetts.
Operate reporting models to prepare quantitative results for filings in regulatory dockets, quarterly reports to public stakeholders, and internal management review.
Perform quality control checks, reconcile data anomalies, and maintain process documentation, so results are traceable and reproducible.
Maintain and update modeling assumptions, ensuring they remain consistent with the context and requirements of regulatory reports and audiences.
Support the development of portfolio forecasting methods to inform program planning, scenario analysis, and portfolio risk management.
Perform variance analysis to identify portfolio-level risks and opportunities, and drill down to isolate the key drivers through both analysis and engagement with program managers.
Distill program results into clear narratives and visuals for management and stakeholders; recommend corrective actions to mitigate budget issues and improve program efficiency.
Maintain core datasets for historical analysis of program budgets and impacts. Inform energy efficiency plans through analysis of past participation and emerging offerings.
Requirements
Requires a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, engineering, data science, or a related discipline.
Strong analytical skills and experience synthesizing complex analysis into clear findings.
Advanced experience with Excel (e.g. PowerQuery, complicated formulas, data models).
Experience extracting, cleaning, and validating data from CRMs or tracking systems.
Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Alteryx, or similar tools is a plus.
Proficiency in data management, including data gathering, version/quality control, and process automation.
Strong attention to detail, deadline management, and organizational skills.
Effective written and oral communication skills, including clearly communicating technical results to non-technical audiences through narratives, visuals, and presentations.
Three (3) plus years of experience in regulatory reporting, performance management, risk management, or related functions in support of a dynamic program/project portfolio.
