About this role

Drive sales of liquid chromatography products within the US and Canada
Maintain own funnel and carry a sales quota
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and increase market share
Serve as technical point of contact at key strategic accounts
Focus on strategic and competitive opportunities to capture market share
Deliver product/workflow presentations and coordinate demonstrations
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns
Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM software
Regularly participate in relevant industry events
Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer insights

Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry, Analytical chemistry or adjacent field
2+ years proven experience in sales, preferably in the scientific or analytical instruments industry
Deep technical understanding of Agilent’s full portfolio of chromatographic solutions and associated applications
Knowledgeable in the informatics solutions and associated compliance requirements of the LC market is highly desirable
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel within the designated territory
