Develop and maintain relationships with institutional clients and prospects across Western Canada.
Provide ongoing relationship management including investment updates, portfolio reviews, and client education sessions in collaboration with portfolio managers and specialists.
Support client onboarding and ensure a high standard of ongoing service.
Support and deepen BMO Global Asset Management’s relationships with Indigenous communities and organizations.
Engage respectfully with community leadership and governance structures while developing an understanding of community priorities, values, and long-term financial objectives.
Identify and pursue new institutional opportunities across Western Canada.
Participate in business development initiatives including client meetings, presentations, and finalist discussions.
Develop and maintain relationships with investment consultants and other professional advisors involved in institutional investment decisions.
Requirements
Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
CFA Charterholder or CIM designation preferred.
Must be eligible to obtain Exempt Market Dealer (EMD) licensing.
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in institutional asset management, institutional business development, or investment advisory.
Strong understanding of institutional investment strategies, asset allocation, and portfolio construction.
Experience working with institutional investors such as pension plans, foundations, endowments Indigenous communities or organizations, and family offices is an asset.
