Manage daily accounting tasks and be accountable for the financial accuracy of specific properties
Ensure the portfolio of properties is audit-and report-ready by keeping accounts current, reconciled, and transparent
Develop a deep understanding of properties and apply that expertise to prompt and accurate reporting and forecasting
Report to the Senior Team Lead and be part of the Accounting department
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
Conduct annual CAM, tax, and insurance escalations
Provide vendor backup for monthly sales usage
Complete quarterly property snapshots and financial statements.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field
Proven experience as a US Accountant
Excellent organizing abilities
Great attention to detail
Strong numerical skills and analytical acumen
Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Familiarity with accounting software such as Yardi is a plus but not a requirement
Accounting experience in the real estate or hospitality industry is a big plus.
