Guidehouse is currently seeking financial management professionals in support of our Department of Defense client.
These teammates will bring a vast range of experiences across financial management, accounting, audit, internal controls, and financial policy.
Our Guidehouse team will provide: Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), DoD financial management policies and procedures and DoD organizational structures
Financial audit statements and audit readiness services
Understanding of current trends in enhancing compliance with accounting and auditing standards within an Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP)
Understanding of Office of Management and Budget (OMB) policies and federal financial management systems
Financial Reporting and Agency Financial Report support including: Agency Financial Report development Financial Management Regulation revisions
Conduct research on exposure drafts and policy matters related to: Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS, the “Yellow Book”), OMB Circular A-123, and other similar topics

Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred
Bachelor’s degree
TEN (10) or more years of experience in financial management or other relevant experience
Experience providing financial management support to the government, including activities such as audit or audit readiness, audit remediation and process improvement internal controls over financial reporting.
Ability to understand and execute on DoW financial management policies and procedures.
Ability to synthesize information quickly and learn new skills, view problems and apply a variety of solutions, and lead client-facing problems and meetings.
