Role Overview
- Analyze, interpret, record and validate invoice entries and exits: taxation, benefits, and claiming tax credits (ICMS, IPI and federal withholdings)
- Issue invoices for import entries of goods and for shipments for industrial processing
- Analyze and issue payment guides for collection of ICMS-ST and advance payments
- Monitor DIFAL for collection
- Prepare GIA-ST
- Provide advisory and analysis of tax operations for projects in the commercial and purchasing areas
- Knowledge of ICMS, ICMS-ST, IPI and federal withholdings
- Keep up to date with tax legislation
- Report the status of requests to the direct supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Intermediate knowledge of tax calculation, tax filings/ancillary declarations and general tax routines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of the PROTHEUS system is a plus
