About this role
Role Overview
- Conduct end-to-end purchasing processes (strategic sourcing);
- Prepare quotations, conduct negotiations and develop suppliers;
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities (savings) and optimize contracts;
- Analyze departmental indicators (KPIs) and propose process improvements;
- Manage supplier contracts, monitoring deadlines, SLAs and performance;
- Issue purchase orders and track deliveries, ensuring timelines and quality;
- Participate in supplier qualification and evaluation;
- Support inventory control and demand planning;
- Ensure vendor and item records are kept up to date in systems (ERP and SOC);
- Support audits and ensure compliance in purchasing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related fields;
- Postgraduate degree is a plus;
- Solid experience in purchasing, with experience in strategic negotiations;
- Experience in cost analysis, contract management and delivering savings;
- Knowledge of ERP systems and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
