Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and goals, monitor treatment progress, and follow up at disposition.
Maintain a full-time case load and provide an average of 20-25 clinical services* weekly; 4-5 sessions daily, Monday through Friday.
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation within the electronic health system, including the submission of clinical documentation within 48 hours from the date of service.
Make referrals when appropriate.
Uphold the Professional Code of Ethics for the licensing body while maintaining strict confidentiality according to the federal and state guidelines and requirements.
Take responsibility for personal development to ensure current knowledge in the profession and maintain licensing board regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned based on current state licensing regulations and as directed by the Director of Clinical Services, as appropriate.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
At least one year of therapeutic services provided post-advanced licensure (preferred)
Active Maryland LCSW-C, LCPC, etc., independent clinical license in good standing.
At least 2 years of experience providing therapeutic services to co-occurring SUD and Mental health populations.
Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards of clinical practice.
Familiarity with evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, and person-centered approaches.
Knowledge of Maryland's mental health system and Medicaid/MCO programs / COMAR HIPAA training required within 30 days of hire.
Require strong attention to detail and follow through with time-sensitive matters.
Respect for and adherence to client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Ability to work well independently and collaboratively.
CPR/First Aid Certification Preferred (or willing to obtain within first 6 months of hire).
