Oversee, strategize, and implement the planning, production, and logistics of specific projects
Work with senior management/sales to understand the project's scope and report progress throughout durations
Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards according to company policies and contract specifications
Work with the project team to define the activities needed to complete the project
Determine the resources required to complete the project and requisite supplies, materials, and subcontractors needed to complete the project
Create and review project schedules with senior management and other staff affected by project activities, revising the schedule as needed
Work with the superintendent and foreman to plan, organize, and direct activities concerning site construction projects
Discuss matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems
Maintain liaison with clients and other contacts to facilitate project activities
Monitor and control projects through administrative direction to ensure completion of projects within schedule and budget
Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures after conferring with senior management
Represent the company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings
Work with the Contract Administrator to manage the financial aspects of contracts, protecting the company’s interests and maintaining good relationships with clients and subcontractors/vendors
Formulate reports concerning work in progress, costs, and scheduling
