Role Overview
- Management, installation, maintenance and deployment of IT equipment (workstations, printers & peripherals)
- Administration and operation of servers
- Assistance with the management, installation and maintenance of Level 1 software
- Level 1 software support and assistance for users
- Educating users on IT security and best-practice guidelines
- Support in managing Centrex telephone systems and mobile telephony, providing user assistance and maintaining installations
- Management and maintenance of video projection and videoconferencing systems
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in IT (Bac+2/Bac+3 level) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of workstation hardware architecture
- General knowledge of operating systems (Windows; macOS is a plus)
- Ability to detect and diagnose system and network issues
- Ability to apply IT security rules and operational procedures
- Ability to conduct support sessions over the phone
- Recognized for strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with users
