Role Overview
- Responsible for procuring products and ensuring product availability
- Negotiate with suppliers and optimize purchasing costs
- Identify and onboard new suppliers
- Demand planning and inventory management based on sales forecasts
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular supplier reviews
- Define and optimize safety stock levels and lead times
Requirements
- Completed commercial training or degree (Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management)
- Minimum 4-5 years of professional experience in purchasing/procurement
- Negotiation experience and a strong affinity for numbers
- Experience working with international suppliers (particularly Asia)
- Basic understanding of import/export, Incoterms, and customs procedures
- Business-fluent German (C1/C2) and English proficiency (B2/C1)
