Drive creative concepting for Gen AI campaigns and in-flight optimisation using Pencil Pro.
Develop and deliver concepts for various video formats, including pre-roll and vertical video. These concepts should be generated with Pencil agents as part of a connected campaign design.
Engage in practical art design and continuous asset optimization based on campaign performance.
Utilize generative AI—specifically the Pencil Pro platform—to create and optimize assets based on real-time campaign performance.
Generate assets for Google campaigns, including YouTube videos, display, and copy.
Work in close collaboration with Jack Smyth to take briefs, generate concepts, and create storyboards for client approval.
Ensure that projects are delivered to the utmost level of professionalism.
Effectively communicate creative ideas and strategies to senior teams.
Consistently produce amazing, original work.
Requirements
Strong portfolio of Digital Design and Art Direction work
Mandatory: Experience and examples of finished generative AI work, such as assets or campaigns that have gone live.
Mandatory: Must possess curiosity and the ability to continually learn as new models and ways of using Pencil become available.
Preferred: A background in performance marketing, as the majority of assets are for this purpose. Familiarity with common formats for mature advertisers such as YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign), skills in Google Web Designer and/or After Effects animation would be superb but not essential.
Ability to think creatively and present your concepts to clients and team members
Experience of working with Developers and UX designers
Possess brilliant layout, typography skills and, of course, sharp attention to detail
Be happy to demonstrate outstanding conceptual and creative thinking in your design work
Have the ability to perform effectively to tight deadlines, work well both independently and as part of a team
Be passionate, positive and lively with lots of ideas
Keen to work hard to produce great creative results
Communicate ideas clearly and confidently to peers and team leaders alike
Open, honest, direct and comfortable in giving and receiving constructive feedback
Able to perform well under pressure and prepared to put the hours in when the project demands it
Finally, it’ll be a huge plus if you have HTML, CSS and JS skills
