Responsible for supervising and undertaking person-centred functional assessments in people’s homes
Recommending appropriate housing adaptations to promote independence, safety and wellbeing
Completing housing needs assessment to provide recommendations to support housing decisions ensuring individuals are matched to accommodation that meets their long-term needs
Requirements
An Occupational Therapy qualification and registration with the professional regulatory body
Experience of supervising staff to assist/oversee work within the team, including safeguarding work
Ability to plan and organise a varied workload for self and others, working to short deadlines within community settings
Experience of operating under pressure where demand is constant and priorities need to be set/reviewed
