Participating in strategic planning sessions with the sales management team on a quarterly and annual basis.
Communicating corporate strategy to employees within the Alpine region.
Planning and directing activities including sales pipeline generation, forecasting, customer relationship development and satisfaction.
Establishing short-term and long-term goals, metrics and quotas in line with corporate and regional objectives.
Identify and enable needed resources for supporting the Alpine sales strategy.
Identify and qualify important sales opportunities within the Alpine region at the management level.
Act as coach, mentor and educator to all Regional Sales Managers within the Alpine region.
Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure sales goals are met.
Keep senior leadership informed of key issues and changes which may impact expected business results.
Requirements
Proven experience with, knowledge of, and network within the Alpine market, notably within the tech industry
Experience in a first line sales leader role and having worked in a people leadership position is required
Passionate relationship building and executive level negotiating skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with functional peers across functions including Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Services Customer Support, and Product Development.
Experience as a successful Regional Sales Director with a track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in the Alpine region
