Role Overview
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions, functional limitations, and mobility.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and patient goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Educate patients and their families on the therapeutic process, home exercise programs, and injury prevention.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.
Requirements
- Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy (CAPT).
- Hold a valid State Physical Therapy License.
